Ethel “Snooks” Millican died early Wednesday, April 2 at Marshall Manor Nursing Home in Guntersville, Al.  She is survived by a son, Bill  Millican (Carolyn); grandchildren



Trey Millican (Meg) of Shoal Creek Valley; Julie Worth (Bobby) of Opelika and two great grandchildren: John David and Claire Worth.  She was born in Lipscomb, Al to

 Henry I. and Ethel Williams and was the last survivor of a family of four brothers and four sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband Claude W. Millican.  She worked as a nurse for over forty years in Birmingham for Drs. R.M. Brannon and Malta Naramore.  Funeral service will be held at 11:00 o’clock Friday morning at Elmwood.  In case of rain, the service will be in the chapel.  Otherwise, the service will be at the graveside.  In lieu of flowers, make donations to Hospice of Marshall County or Creek Path Baptist of Guntersville.
