Marian Mae Miller Fowler, age 87 of Cullman, formerly of Birmingham, died Friday, January 26, 2018.
She was preceded I death by her husband Cleon Milton Fowler, parents James and Annie Miller, sister Jemima Miller Lindsey, brothers William Miller and Carl Miller.
She is survived by daughter, Jana Fowler; son-in-law, Jason Fowler; grandson, William(Will) Fowler; sister, Gail Miller Roskamp and many nieces and nephews.
Marian was a devoted wife and mother. She worked outside the home as an administrative assistant, office manager, bookkeeper, and receptionist. Her greatest joy was being a grandmother. She enjoyed her time as "Gran Sissy" to her only grandson Will. She was quiet and reserved, a self-proclaimed wallflower. Whether you know her as Marian, Sis, Aunt Sissy, or Gran Sissy you know she will be greatly missed. The support she gave, the love she shared and the whole hearted devotion you enjoyed knowing her will be something we all carry with us. Her spirit will live on in the lives she touched.
The Family will receive friends at Ridout's Elmwood Chapel and Funeral Home on Thursday, February 1st from 1:00-2:00 pm. Memorial service will begin at 2:00 pm with burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
